What we use, and why

We keep this light. The site works without you accepting anything beyond the essentials, and we don't run advertising trackers of our own.

Essential storage

Two small values are saved in your browser's local storage: your confirmation that you're 18 or over, and your cookie choice. They stop us asking the same questions every time you visit and stay on your device. Without them the site still works — you'd just see the prompts again.

Analytics

If you accept analytics, we use them to count page views and understand which comparisons are read, in aggregate. This is only set after you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner. Choose “Essential only” and no analytics are loaded.

Affiliate attribution

When you click through to an operator, the affiliate network on their side may set a cookie to credit the referral. That happens on the operator's domain, under their rules, once you've left this site. See our affiliate disclosure for the commercial background.

Changing your mind

You can clear the stored values any time through your browser's privacy settings, which resets both the age and cookie prompts. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely; the core of this site will still load.
