Privacy policy

How Luck Case File handles information when you use the site. Last updated 25 June 2026.

The short version

This is an information site, not an account-based service. You don't register, log in or hand over personal details to read it, so we hold very little about you. What we do collect is covered below.

What we collect

  • Basic analytics.Aggregated, non-identifying data about which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors come from, so we can see what's useful and what isn't.
  • Choices you make on the site.Your age confirmation and cookie preference are stored in your own browser so we don't ask again on every visit. They stay on your device.
  • Anything you send us. If you email the editors or use the contact form, we keep your message and address only to reply.

We don't ask for your name, date of birth, financial details or anything you'd use to gamble. Those go to the operator, under their own privacy policy, if you choose to sign up with them.

Why we're allowed to

Under UK GDPR we rely on your consent for non-essential analytics cookies, and on legitimate interests for running and securing the site and replying to messages you send us.

Affiliate links and third parties

When you click through to an operator, you leave this site and their privacy policy takes over. Affiliate networks may record that the click came from us in order to attribute a referral. We never see your account or financial information at the operator. Our affiliate disclosure explains the commercial side.

How long we keep things

Browser-stored preferences last until they expire or you clear them. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with your query and then deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. As we hold so little, most requests are quick to handle. Email help@luckcasefile.comto make one. If you're unhappy with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

The detail on what we set and how to control it lives on the cookie policy page.
